- Reiki (pronounced, “ray-key”)
refers to Rei, meaning “universal” (in the spiritual
dimension) and Ki meaning “vital life force”
which flows through all that is alive. Together Reiki represents
the concept of the “universal life force”.
- Reiki enhances the healing process in
the way most needed by the individual receiving the treatment.
This may occur on a physical level, an emotional level,
a spiritual level, or a combination of these.
- Reiki is pure energy or vibration. And
is a holistic technique for balancing the natural life force.
When it is combined with the sincere intention of the recipient
to be open to whatever form of healing is needed a sense
of harmony and well being can be achieved.

- One should seek Reiki whenever enhanced
healing from illness, injury, surgery, pain relief, stress
release, quick energy, or energy balance is desired.
- For best results the first four Reiki
sessions should be scheduled close together. After that,
sessions can be scheduled as one wishes.
|
- The Universal Life Force flows through
and around us at all times. When our ki or energy becomes
blocked, slowed, or unbalanced we experience dis-ease.
- The Reiki practitioner has been attuned
and taught to act as an instrument of the universal life
force in order to facilitate healing for the recipient.
- Through intuition, the practitioner
is able to direct Reiki to the recipient’s body at
problematic areas for realignment and balance. The practitioner
helps the recipient to open blocked centers of energy (chakras),
thereby reconnecting her or his energy fields to their own
Universal Life Force.
