While Reiki is not massage, the Reiki practitioner will
place their hands gently on or over your body to direct
the flow of energy.
You will relax on the massage table, fully and comfortably
clothed.
You may experience heat or coolness, pulsating
energy, or vibration seeming to flow from the Reiki practitioner’s
hands to the areas on your body which require attention.
Some parts of your body may ‘draw’ enormous
amounts of energy and some none at all. This means that
in some places the Reiki practitioner’s hands will
feel warm or tingly or both, and some, ‘normal’ or
cool.
Some clients have stated that they have a sensation of
bubbles or internal massage when receiving a Reiki treatment.
They find this sensation to be very pleasant.
Clients report feeling very relaxed and having a sense
of well being during and after Reiki treatments.
On different days, the ‘demand’ will
change in intensity, and may also change in location.
This is because on different days the areas of your body
needing attention may change.
The offering of Reiki is not a licensed
practice. The
State of Iowa has not adopted educational and training standards
for unlicensed complimentary and alternantive health care providers. The

Cancellations and no-shows:
Appointment time is valuable and
in high demand. Therefore
any appointment cancelled less than forty-eight hours before
the scheduled appointment time must be compensated for. Full
payment for the session as scheduled is expected unless another
session can be scheduled within the week.
